Dr. Victoria Karalis

ABOUT DR. VICTORIA KARALIS

Dr. Victoria Karalis completed her undergraduate studies at York University, graduating with Dean’s List Honours, before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Throughout her optometric education, Dr. Karalis developed a strong interest in clinical research focusing on ocular disease and she had the opportunity to present her work at the American Academy of Optometry in Indianapolis. She also served as a Student Executive for the Canadian Association of Optometry Students throughout her degree.

She also completed a clinical rotation at the Padula Institute of Vision Rehabilitation in Connecticut, where she focused on the assessment and management of patients with traumatic brain injuries and binocular vision dysfunction. This experience fostered a particular interest in binocular vision and vision rehabilitation, areas she continues to pursue within her clinical practice. Dr. Karalis is fluent in both French and Greek and is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients through attentive and compassionate care. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active through fitness and expresses her creativity through painting.
